Ann Goeth - Australian Brush-turkeys: unique behaviour, life cycle and adaptations

Following the AGM there will only be the single presentation entitled: Australian Brush-turkeys: unique behaviour, life cycle and adaptations

Join expert Dr Ann Goeth, author of “Mound Builders”, for a closer look at the unique life of the Australian Brush-turkey.  Discover fascinating facts about their habitat, foraging habits, breeding and of course, why they build such large mounds!  Find out what the chances are of these birds becoming a common sight around Canberra, by looking at their historical and current distribution.  Be informed about a human-wildlife conflict arising from Brush-turkeys breeding in suburban areas from where they have not previously been known.
