About

Readers are welcome to download these posters and brochure pages showing some beautiful images of typical Canberra birds.

Backyard Birds of Canberra (2019) is a poster produced by Birds in Backyards (a research, education and conservation program of BirdLife Australia) with assistance from COG.   It features 24 of the common or characteristic bird species of Canberra, together with information on how to attract and care for birds in your garden.

Pocket Guide to the Birds of Canberra (2004) is a brochure produced jointly by BirdLife Australia and COG, with illustrations by Peter Marsack and text by Penny Olsen and Tom Green.  It shows a selection of our birds in classic Canberra habitats.
