Mates Gully TSR is about 20 km south of Tarcutta, approximately 2 1/2 hours driving time (210km)from Canberra. The vegetation is Mugga Ironbark/Scribbly Gum/Red Box Shrubby Open Forest. We plan to arrive late Friday afternoon and depart after lunch on Sunday. The campout will be on a “take everything in, take everything out” basis – there are NO FACILITIES.
