Meet at Uriarra East Reserve at 8.30am.
We will walk around Uriarra East Reserve first, then venture into Stony Creek Reserve, which follows the river south. Both reserves have significant bird lists.
Wear sturdy shoes, bring a hat, water and sunscreen.
Uriarra East is a picnic area and easy walking. The walk into Stony Creek has a couple of steep, short sections. I will check the conditions a few days ahead of the outing date to see what the track is like – if it has been mown it should be quite OK. The walk will be about three hours.
