The track passes through the Ginninderry Conservation corridor and will cover various vegetation types including grasslands, Yellow Box/Red Gum/Scribbly Gum woodlands and Black Callitris Forest, so a good variety of birds should be on offer. For those in need of a cuppa after the walk, coffee and cake should be available at the Stepping Stone Café located next to the carpark.

Meeting time and place: the outing will start at 8:00am at the carpark located behind The Link   (-35.232682 148.995186). Do not park at The Link for that is reserved for Ginninderry Trust employees.

Walk details: the walk will take approximately 2 ½ hours and will follow a purpose-built track linking The Link at Strathnairn to Shepherds Lookout. The grade 3 track will involve steps and some steep sections so appropriate walking shoes will be required.
