This reserve includes areas of Yellow Box – Blakeley’s Red Gum Grassy Woodland. We will focus on the western side, including the trig point and dam. Possible birds include Scarlet Robin, Golden Whistler and a variety of honeyeaters.

We will walk between 2 to 3 kms on different surfaces, including rough rocky tracks, finishing by 12:00. Wear sturdy boots, a hat and take water and morning tea. Trekking poles would be useful.

Meet at Schown Pl entrance (off Temperley St, Nicholls) at 09:00.
