The walk will be on Gossan Hill. Meet at 9am on Mugglestone Place, Bruce. There is a fairly obvious length of roadway where parking is possible on the roadside on both sides, next to one of the tracks leading up into the reserve. The walk will mainly be on wide tracks, a little undulating in parts. It should take 2-3 hours. Register to attend, to Sandra at shirmax2931@gmail.com
At the time of writing I am unsure if I will be at the walk – if not I will provide details of attendees to Lindell, who has offered to be leader.

Post event report

Sixteen COG members walked around Gossan Hill on a day which struggled to a maximum 12 degrees, but started off below zero. Surprisingly, around 30 species were seen, although robins eluded us on the day. Several of the group had not visited this site before. Crimson Rosellas and Galahs appeared to be selecting nest hollows, and several pairs of Gang-gang Cockatoos were moving around between the reserve and nearby gardens. Eastern Spinebills were feeding in the gardens on one side of the track.
