Bird Blitz

Yes, it is on again – our fourteenth Bird Blitz, when we attempt a full weekend of counting birds across the ACT. All the details are on our website, including the list of frequently surveyed locations and the names of those birders who have already signed up to survey there. Please let me know – to blitz@canberrabirds.org.au – if you are prepared to help us get really good coverage of our Territory by nominating to take on one or more of the listed locations (or other sites) to survey over the course of that weekend. You don’t have to enter your data electronically – paper is still fine. I’m always looking for 4WD vehicles with competent drivers to survey beyond locked gates in Namadgi NP. If you haven’t done this before, it is really inspiring – there are just a few conditions we have to comply with – so get in touch if you are keen.
