Mt Majura

The walk starts at 8am and will last for approximately 3 hours.  We meet at the McKenzie St entrance in Hackett.  Mt Majura is a big hill, at 888m the highest in metropolitan Canberra, with a variety of habitats.  Many interesting birds have been seen here in recent years, including Glossy Black Cockatoos (though not by me).  There are sure to be a good variety of woodland birds in attendance, and some summer migrants may well be present among them.  If we are feeling energetic, we may make it to the top of the hill.  Please bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and some morning tea.
