A small group, including new and potential new COG members enjoyed a beautiful sunny morning for this walk, recording 49 species. Highlights were good views of: Rainbow Lorikeets inspecting a hollow, a Red-capped Robin on a nest (the first time I've recorded this species at Callum Brae), Striated Pardalotes displaying, Dollarbird, Sacred Kingfisher, Leaden Flycatcher, White-throated Gerygone, Speckled Warbler and Double-barred Finch. The resident pair of Brown Goshawks were calling around their usual nesting territory, but did not seem to be quite in nesting mode yet.
